It seems that a lot of people think that respect should just come to them. How can you really earn someone's repsect?
Ms. Lee, came to our clinic yesterday. She was late for 45 mins by her appointment timing. When she came in our clinic, she looked so unhappy with everyone. I should say it more look like everyone was offended to her.
------ You need to do is respect others first. It doesn't matter who are they and so on. If you judge, you'll be judged. To do on to others as you want done on to you, treat others the way you want to be treated. You must respect those around you, before you'll get respect back.Don't walk around mad or frustrated about what's happening in your life or in other people's lives. Take life as it comes. Be the first one to start up a conversation with someone, even if you don't know them. Find something you can talk about. If they're having trouble, help them out if they let you. Offer to lend a hand before you're asked...and most important, be honest with others and with yourself. If you know you won't be able to do something or can't make an appointment, don't lie just to make that person feel good that you'll meet with them. If you don't have time or have other things going on, tell them the truth. People respect an honest answer and an honest opinion.
No matter what the situation. When you see someone, smile. It's contagious, for the most part anyway. 95% of people you smile at, will smile back. They'll know that you are happy with yourself and with your surroundings. In turn, they'll give you respect by smiling back.------Well, back to our patient. When i told her the total amount is $130.00. She asked "how much is the cleaning?" "$80 for scaling and air polishing, another $50 for x-ray", i replied. She told me that "BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE X-RAY", so i told her that everyone of our new patient are compulsary to take a x-ray. She was very rude to said "but you didnt tell me!" I show to her immediately that we were written down on the medical history form. She just kept quiet and throw her ATM card to me.
After i passed the receipt to her, she just walk away.
Huh~ finally she left.

Our Profesional Technician
As usual, when i reach clinic, i will unlock the doors, switch on the lights, tv, computers, suctions, x-ray and etc. Today, i did the same. And i realised the monitor for x-ray is not working AGAIN! So, i quickly call Kevin (The person in-charge). Kevin promised to get a new CPU for us because since my boss bought the x-ray machine, it was not working more than 10 times in a year...About 3pm, Kevin came with the technician (CWC-his name). Below is the conversation in between the technician and me. Let's see...
CWC: I though你很厉害了,上次教了你。
Me:我不是Technician嘛!
CWC: *sinister smile*
Well, i did learn from him partial technique how to solve the problem. I was think, "Hello uncle! If i know how to solve the problems, i think you're jobless now!" Since my boss paid for it, he should settle for us. Am i right? What the hell^^ This kind of rubbish can be manager!!!

SHUT UP! You're so annoying!
I still can remember clearly that our patient's husband blamed me late for work.
That was Monday. I was early reached clinic that morning, exactly 9.10am i reached.
When i squated, trying to unlocked the door, i heard he said:" Wah! A neh wua jia kui meng!..." He spoke to his wife in Hokkien. I felt so annoying, but i just kept quiet. Once i unlocked the door, i told his wife, "please go in and take a sit. Doctor will be coming in at 10am. Next time may be you can called up to book appointment in adbance, so that you no need to stand for so long to wait at outside. Somemore we are open at 10am."
I guess only blind people cant see that WE ARE OPEN AT 10am!!! I did't late, i was not only on time, i was early 20 mins than working time. She was politely replied me "it's ok. I called yu0 yesterday. But no one answered the phone."
I nearly vomit blood when i heard that. Yesterday was Sunday. Who is working on Sunday? I felt so helpless. I didn't bother about them after that until my boss came in.
Who can understand my feeling?
Teach me what should i do?

Are you a professional salesman?
The day before yesterday, one of our "regular" salesman came to visit our clinic. When he came in, he said "is Dr. Tan in?". I was so suprised. As i know, we dont have any Dr. Tan. We only have Dr. Ng. So i replied, "No. By the way, we only have Dr. Ng, not Dr. Tan." He was not so happy said that "oh ya! it's Dr. Ng. Is she in?" "No, he is not in."
***Please open your eyes as big as possible when you read the highlighted part.***
--- speechless---
If you're were him, what you will do before you want to visit your client? As a professional salesman, i think they should make sure who is the dentist.
This is his picture. Toh - the sales representative.
Please don't ask me where can i get from his picture.
I hope his company send him to some salesman course, to learn the basic sales skill.

Free Consultation
Most of the white collar hates Monday. They claimed that Monday is always “BLUES”. For me, i feel “BLUES” when i received nonsense calls from alamakians!
Since yesterday, i was so blues. The whole day keep on answering calls with no appointment. I was wondering may be they checking for the price, end up they choose the most CHEAPEST treatment fees in Singapore?
I never know that “Free Consultation” is ALIVE in Singapore. From my point of view, i believed that there is “nothing is free” in Singapore. Live for the reality. I get bored with those people who ask for free consultation.
I received one call from a lady who doesn’t want to pay for the consultation and X-ray. She told me that she wanted to find the lower charges for wisdom tooth surgery. When i told her that dentist needs to see the x-ray before give her the quote. She said “actually the my sister wants to do wisdom tooth surgery. But she is busy with her work. Can i bring over the X-ray show to the dentist with paying any consultation fees?” “Anyway you have to pay for the consultation fee,” I told her. “I need to check with my sister. I will call back later” she replied. I knew she won’t call back, because she doesn’t want to pay any single cent. She was trying to find F.O.C consultation.
*Her sister is so busy with her work, do you she has time to go for the surgery? Unless she is in pain condition.*

Can't you tell me exactly what you want?
It was happened in 2 hours ago, during my lunch time. *Ring Ring Ring* when i picked up the phone, “Hello, good afternoon. May i help you?” i said. From another side, i can hear there are a young lady’s impatient sound. She said “is there any slot for today?” “Yes, can you make it about 3pm” i said. And she asked “later?”. “3.30pm?” Again, she asked me “later?” “4pm” i replied. She asked the same question with impatiently, “Later?” and i told her the latest time for her is 4pm. She made a sound like “aiyahhhh!!!” and booked appointment at 4pm.
